Most Diaspora Jews Are Living In Denial And Unashamed Hypocrisy Over Israel’s Theft Of Land And Ethnic Cleansing
As my weary old body can no longer manage its former capacity for wining and womanising, I endeavour not to partake of alcohol more than once a week — which I sometimes do at a nearby wine bar — where one of the regulars is a likeable, full of good humour and bonhomie Jewish man to whom I shall refer as Mr. X. When I first made Mr. X’s acquaintance some years ago, he expressed an interest in reading my book despite my warning that he may not like what I had to say about Israel. After he assured me that he was openminded, I gave him a copy which he apparently read but never subsequently commented about.
During my latest visit to that fine establishment where world-wise pronouncements pour forth as readily as does the wine, I became involved in a conversation about the forthcoming U.S. presidential election with Mr. X and another regular who having watched a video about Hillary Clinton was of the opinion that the former First Lady was an extremely corrupt politician who should lose the election to Donald Trump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vczoazK1mxU
Mr. X’s reaction to this line of argument was one of animated indignation at the very prospect of “The Donald” — a contemptible and short-fingered vulgarian — becoming President of the United States of America. My contribution at that point was to jokingly suggest that “if an ignorant racist could become Prime Minister of Israel, then why can’t Trump become U.S. President?” The result of my innocuous remark was to cause — with cataclysmic suddenness — the loss of Mr. X’s usual good humour and bonhomie and the emergence of his true nature which could no longer disguise the inherent hatred in his eyes. He angrily informed me that such remarks were not welcome; that he had read my book and had made no comments about it because he respected the opinion of others; and while he did not actually accuse me of being anti-Semitic, the implication with its venomous capacity to stigmatise into silence was nonetheless ominously present.
Mr. X’s claim to have respect for the opinion of others — which, however, unconditionally excluded opinions about Israel being an Apartheid state irrefutably guilty of crimes against humanity — was typical of the denial and hypocrisy which he and others of his ilk practise with consummate skill. With their “chosen people” lofty and magisterial pretensions of being morally superior to others, they pontificate endlessly about the Holocaust while deliberately ignoring or supporting — if not by actual deed, then certainly in spirit — the brutal colonisation and ethnic cleansing of Palestine by Israeli Jews who unashamedly flaunt a rabid racism that confirms the elitist nature of their psychotic inhumanity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1EItmgEKso
The self-serving hypocrisy of these Zionist ideologues was established by the founder of Zionism Theodor Herzl and numerous other subsequent Jewish leaders who made no effort to disguise their brazen-faced racism and crude illegal land-grabbing intentions. (http://www.rense.com/general77/disturb.htm)
So as Israeli Jews with arrogant impunity and inhumane barbarity maintain almost 70 years of ethnic cleansing by denying the Palestinian people their homeland, their heritage, their history, their human rights, and in many cases even their lives (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aalCwwX2xjo) intelligent and upstanding diaspora Jews (like my wine bar acquaintance Mr.X) nonchalantly go about their business of dishonest denial of Israel’s criminality while working tirelessly to suppress — with trumped up charges of anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial — any criticism of that Apartheid state’s endless violations of international law. Apart from Israel’s recent gains in coercing social media organisations such as Facebook to censor content it deems inappropriate and helpful to the viral success of BDS, (http://www.activistpost.com/2016/09/facebook-israel-officially-announce-collaboration-censor-social-media-content.html) pro-Israel diaspora Jews and lobby groups also pressure the governments of the so-called democratic countries in which they live to criminalise pro-Palestinian activism including a move towards a new definition of antisemitism that was aimed at stifling the debate and protecting Israel from any consequential condemnation. Part of that protection involved the launch of a smear campaign across Europe against the Palestine Solidarity Movement with virulent attacks against the non violent Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Even in the U.S. the disingenuous presidential candidate Hillary Clinton — in a grovelling speech at the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) policy conference — condemned BDS “Particularly at a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise across the world, especially in Europe, we must repudiate all efforts to malign, isolate, and undermine Israel and the Jewish people.” (https://theintercept.com/2016/03/22/clinton-attacks-israeli-boycott-movement-in-aipac-speech/)
In Britain’s latest crackdown on Pro-Palestinian voices and ongoing witch-hunt against the Labour Party for example, the Home Affairs Select Committee (HASC) has issued a report urging the government to adopt an amended definition of antisemitism that views the term “Zionist” as inflammatory and potentially antisemitic. Any such undemocratic amendment of the definition would, however, not alter the fact that the Zionist political ideology shared across the religious spectrum, was based on the requirement for the systematic and violent displacement of some 85% of the indigenous Palestinian population resulting in the world’s most protracted, largest, and still unresolved refugee problem with 6.5 million Palestinians being the longest ever suffering ethic group. In one of its crude and often unbelievably comical attempts to justify its illegal occupation of Palestinian lands, Israel’s foreign ministry resorted to using social media for posting a video — that is insulting even to the intelligence of low IQ people — which was no doubt intended to educate (brainwash) the rest of the world into believing that Jews living in the “Land of Israel” were during a period of some 3,000 years subject to numerous intrusions from warmongering marauders — Assyrians, Babylonians, Hellenists, Arabs, Romans, Crusaders, Mamluks, and Ottomans — who forced them to relocate to ever smaller parts of their home until eventually a servant of the British Empire appears to return “their” title deeds.
While subsequently celebrating their good fortune, the Jews are yet again interrupted by the arrival on their doorstep of penniless Palestinians craning their necks to see what kosher goodies await them inside. The video’s pathetic portrayal of “normal” Jewish folk stoically enduring successive invasions of “their” home was bad enough, but having the Palestinians suddenly turning up in 1948 after the departure of the British from nowhere definitely adds insult to injury. The extent to which Israelis and their supporters will go to rewrite Palestine’s history is mind boggling, and this video has to be seen to be believed. (https://www.facebook.com/IsraelMFA/videos/10154038006641317/) Having said all that, in fairness it must also be acknowledged that many Jews do not accept Zionism as being a part of Judaism with some Jewish groups even regarding Zionism as a danger and a threat to the Jewish faith. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA5is7IcEqA) It should also be recognised by sane people everywhere, that Zionism is not just a danger and threat to the Jewish faith, but also to the rest of humanity.
